August 18, 2022by Carissa Harrison in Announcements

The concept of EFT Tapping can be confusing for many. CheckingIn is here to not only teach you what tapping is, but how to do it yourself!

We are thrilled to see the positive impact our collaboration with Well-being Consultant and EFT Practitioner Meredith Dawson has had!

Who is Meredith Dawson?

As a childhood educator, mother, and human who has faced her share of struggles, Meredith has discovered that there are key tools and techniques that we can all use to thrive. Each tool is directly connected to one thing - our ability to move back to breath. After 25 years in education, Meredith chose to focus on serving educators, their students, and families through well-being programs that are emotionally empowering. Meredith will support you in creating the life you desire with clarity, confidence, and joy.

What are the effects of EFT?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or tapping, is used to help people connect with their mind, body, and soul. It is the process of tapping on specific acupressure points to release negative emotions and physical tension. The areas of the body engaged with during tapping are called meridian points. Chinese medicine says these points hold the most energy out of anywhere in the body. Those who partake in tapping find EFT helps them to regulate their energy and keeps them in a stable mental place.
